I'm eyeing this model for a while now, the question is, can I manipulate the CPU functions through the BIOS like disabling cores and HT, etc?

if I recall correctly the stock bios has a pretty wide array of options in the CPU Performance menu. im running an r2 w/ an unlocked bios. it does list more options, but I would venture to say anything you would want to mess with is in the stock bios as well. the unlocked bios does have increased clocks for the gpu and gives a significant boost in gpu performance. it make the GT 650 outperform a GTX 660.

Only an unlocked version of the BIOS.
