    M14x R2 HDMI sound cut out

    Hi guys,

    I've got an alienware M14x R2 and I love it to bits!

    I've recently been plugging it into my TV via hdmi to watch films and stuff, but for some reason every 5-7 mins the sound cuts out for a second. It was worse until I changed my display settings to 50hz, as at 40hz (hadn't realised I was on that setting!) it would totally disconnect from the telly,

    If you wind the video back, it will play the sound, and the video plays fine on the laptop, so I don't think that's the issue.

    Has anyone else experienced this? It's just weird that it would work for most of the film, but have these 1-2 second drop outs!

    Have you tried another cable? Is the connection tight?
