    M14x R2 GPU Temp unlock question

    I've been doing a bit research as to why my m14x is getting lower benchmarks then it should, and as far as I can tell it's due to a temp lock that limits it to the high 60's. I then attempted to change this limit with nividia inspector with no luck. A little more reserch has turned up that I may need to change my BIOS to an unlocked version.

    So my question is which bios version is unlocked? Some reserch has told me that Bios version A3 and A11 are unlocked, can any one confirm this? Can anyone suggest which one to change to?

    I'm planning on upgrading to the most recent version that is unlocked, unless there's a good reason not too.

    You need to get that from TechInferno, we don't post unlocked BIOS's on our support website

    Thanks I'll check it out, most reps wouldn't tell me that :p

    Edit: I found the Bios I want/need but their rules/mods are annoying, I've been actively trying to get 5 posts so that I can download the attachment and the mods haven't approved a single one yet... it's frigging annoying.

    Edit2: later that day they got everything straightened out, OC is working but the temps are still locked I'm downgrading to nvidia driver 331.65 to see if that works.
