    hi guys!

I have m14x R2 connected to my 120Hz 3D capabale TV/Monitor but having troubles with enabling 3D mode. I had m14x R1 before and 3D was working on it without problems. I have Nvidia 3D TV Play utility installed but when I connecting monitor via hdmi it seems that connection goes to intel 4000 card and I simply have no option to enable 3D at nvidia control panel.
Can anyone confirm that 3D actually working and give a hint on how to enable it.

    thanks

I am having similar problems trying to hook it up to a 3dtv. When i try to open nvidia vision or 3dtv play, tells primary video display is not supported. It is driveing me nuts. Gunna try a mini display port adapter today.

I've found it's not possible to do this through HDMI. However, some were able to use it with a mini display port to dual div adapter.

    Check out this thread.

It is possible with the M17xR4...

I've gone to a TV store and hooked up to a TV and enabled 3D mode.

While it "worked" there is a severe limitation IF you have an Nvidia GeForce in your system, cause Nvidia limits 1080p signals over HDMI to a lousy 24 Hz refresh in 3D mode!!!!!!!!!!

Hard to believe but true... makes it look like dogdoo

Would be great if someone from Dell/Alienware could call up Nvidia and ask them what that artificial limitation is for, cause it prevents gamers from using their TV for 3D gaming...

I presume it has to do with greed on Nvidia's part, cause they sell the "Pro version" for business with outdated and overpriced (but Nvidia 3D Vision licensed) Mitsubishi TVs that don't even support LightBoost.
