    Hi everyone,

    Does somebody still have a link to download the unlocked A08 bios for the M14x which enables sata III SSDs? None of those I found are working anymore unfortunately.

    Not sure we have an unlocked BIOS for the 14. o_O I'm only able to find the official one.

    A little late to the party, but the unlocked A08 bios can be downloaded here (credit goes to svl7).

    A somewhat related inquiry of my own: Can anyone on this forum confirm whether the bios I linked is the same A08 modded by svl7 for SATA 3 compatibility (as referred to in this thread)? Unfortunately it would appear that techinferno will be down indefinitely and I haven't been able to find the file anywhere else. Plus, svl7 has been mia on this forum as well as everywhere else since 2015, so asking him isn't an option...

    seems techinferno is back online... were you able to download it? I'm asking for access now as I would like to get this also.

    does anyone have a dump of the EC chip for this?

    I'll check my backups for the two modded bios versions, I gave my m14x r1 to my daughter.
    one version was for the SSD and the other upped the juice mod for the 3g graphics cards.

    Both worked very well.
