I had recently done a clean install on my Alienware M14x and I have been following this guide to reinstall my drivers:

Alienware M14x R1: Initial Drivers Installation | Dell

I am having trouble on step 6C installing the correct wireless card drivers. The links on the guide no longer work as it is a bit outdated, so I took matters into my own hands and installed these two drivers:

After installing them, I still cannot connect to the Internet, and it gives me a message saying that "No connections are available". I know it is not my router's fault. I have also finished installing all other drivers except for the ones in step 6C.

Any help or suggestions to what I can do would be greatly appreciated!

Try going to device manager and seeing what model of wireless card you have. Then uninstall the drivers currently installed for it (right click in device manager --> uninstall) and restart ur laptop. Then either let windows find the drivers for it or google the driver and see what u can find.

    I solved it!

And I did try uninstalling the network adapter and reinstalling numerous times but to no avail. I then tried to install the other drivers found on the M14x Drivers and Downloads page:

After installing the bottom four (Not the Bigfoot one), my network adapter worked and I could connect to the internet. After installing the Bigfoot Networks-Driver, it stopped working. Again, I uninstalled the drivers and reinstalled numerous times over without success, and I didn't know why. Eventually overcome with frustration, I rage quitted and I re- re-installed Windows 7. This time, I installed all the drivers again EXCEPT the Bigfoot Networks-Driver and everything works perfectly. Damn Bigfoot. Though I fixed it myself, I honestly appreciate the effort ^_____^
