    M14x Order Status Discussion

    I didn't see a thread for this yet.

    Anyway, I ordered my M14x the 19th over the phone and the rep said since it was a big charge we should let the payment split itself into three charges so things go smoothly because of daily limit charging. I said alright whatever. My email from Dell has the status bar on "confirmed". I click on my order number to see my order info/actual status and it doesent go anywhere.

    Also the rep said that the estimated delivery date was 5/13 before I ordered then I got the email and it said 5/20.. I have the NBD shipping too.

    If others that have the M14x on order also can give some input to what their status says and delivery date on the order says it would be much appreciated. Thanks

    I found out that they only charged my account 2/3 the amount the 19th and didnt even attempt to finish the charge yesterday or today. Called them up and they said that they will fix it. Idk though. My order still says processing... tards

    When ordering, it said the estimated ship date was 5/10, and I picked 7 day shipping, so it seems to me like the EDD should be 5/17. Maybe they said 5/10 to give themselves extra time in case of delays.

    Order = expedited
    Delivery = Next Day
    Estimated Delivery Date = 5/13

    My guess is that we will get them earlier but I could be wrong...

    Ordered on the 20th, delivery is set for May 16th - no expedited shipping. Currently still showing in production. Estimated ship date I am showing as the 11th so I may get it earlier than the 16th.

    I ordered my M11x about a week ago and I got it in less than a week even though the delivery date said it would take about 3 weeks. Anyway, I just ordered an M14x and it says 5/18.

    Ordered by phone on the 21st, EDD 5/17, In Production. US. Got lucky with a cool rep, I just asked him if they have a lot of people asking for Farmers discount, didn't even ask to give it to me, just asked how my company's EPP compares to Farmers, he said we get 10%, they get 21%, and then he was like "ok we'll apply "your" Farmers discount since you're a member" (which I'm not) and I was like "cool dude".

    Because i am ordering mine from the US, it will have the wrong plug on my charging lead.. can i just buy a UK version lead or is it more complicated than that ? because i know theres different voltages in the UK than in the US

    New plug will be fine. The power adapters can handle anything from 110-250V, usually.

    Ok thanks Serephucus. Btw is there any other differences in a US laptop to a UK laptop. I know the keyboard is, but i think the Pound sign is just missing
