Just wanted to say that I ordered this from Dell and it is really well made and a good buy for those looking for a good sleeve. My only complaint is that it is a bit too tight for my taste but I'm guessing it'll stretch a little over time.

couldn't of agreed more; at 30 bucks it's a steal! also, a little unknown tip: inside it has a flap that covers the laptop from the zipper! ;)

Had it for my m11x and got it for my m14x, awesome case to then also put in a laptop bag.

I was a little concerned about the zippers maybe scratching the soft touch finish but it hasn't so far. Awesome case.

How water resistant is the sleeve? I'm considering buying it myself. For example, if I pour a cup of water onto the sleeve does it get through the to the laptop? What if I pour half a cup of water? What about a slight sprinkle?

    Thanks guys!

Well wet suits are made of Neoprene and it keeps divers dry so I'd say it's at least fairly water resistant. I'm not sure why you'd want to pour a cup of water on your laptop in it's sleeve, I'm guessing it would fair ok as long as you didn't let it sit for a long time.

Wet suits don't keep divers dry..

The idea behind a wet suit is that it creates a pocket of water between your body and the wet suit that is warmed by your body and acts like a layer of insulation. When you go into the water, the water slowly seeps in and is fully between you and the wet suit within about 30 seconds.

With this is mind, don't assume it's waterproof :)

Maybe you should perform the test, preferably not with the laptop inside at the time ;)

If you wanted it to be water resistant get some tent treater. I used that to coat the roof of my Porsche and you could pour water over it and would just bead up and run off. Resistant mind not water proof but id be fairly confident with a good coating and left to dry, it would resist a full cup of water.

I have 1 of these for my m11x and for what they cost they are very very well made.
