How do I actually know if the factory installed the 3 GB V ram?
Is there a way to find out somewhere?

or just click start type sys in the command box and it should list system information. Then launch it and look under display.

If it only reports the intel display info, you can right click Desktop go to NVIDIA Control panel, and look in the system info there. It's in the bottom left corner.
