anybody else playing this game here?

what are your VIDEO settings while on BATTERY?

i seem to have no problems with my VIDEO SETTINGS set to VERY HIGH while on AC POWER.

however, while to play the same VERY HIGH SETTING while on battery, i noticed the game LAGGED noticeably and adjusting settings to MEDIUM seemed not to help either.

im on MODDED 290.53 and am also wondering if going back to STOCK 269.37 will help.

    thanks.

My understanding is that every bios version after A01 limits the speed of the gpu while on battery. The reason is that the system would otherwise draw too much power from the battery and cause the system to shutdown.
I haven't played that game but you may just have to figure out what graphics settings work. Just wanted to let you know why there is such a huge difference, it isn't a problem with your specific laptop.

I play this game too but I dont play it on battery that's why I dont post anything since it is not much useful to you. But you might want to try Goonielife's advice, however if you try the A01 BIOS, you'll get a lot of noise coming from the fan, that's what the A03 BIOS fix.

The reason you getting lag while on Battery is that any BIOS that's after A01 will be auto-downclock the GPU while on battery, because there are reports that while using the battery, the laptop often shut down for no reason.
