    hey guys
    Going into my final year of university and looking to spend a max of 1399. I like to game occasionally but the most important thing to me is screen quality. Can't stand a screen that can't display blacks properly. I will be taking the laptop to school everyday. Do others find it portable and how's the battery life? I have considered Asus Ux32vd(backlight bleed), 13 macbook pro(crappy res), Samsung series 9(non upgradeable). Please help.

    I just got my m14x today(after waiting 5 days) and I love it, I was wanting to buy a ux32vd as well, but couldnt justiy spending $1300 when i can get an alienware with 2-3x the power of the ux32vd at that price.

    the battery meter says 6-8 hours, which i am impressed and happy with, i did install a ssd as soon as it arrived as well =) Overall i couldnt be happier with my system so far. I will also be using my m14x as my school system once fall semester starts for me.

    You can get the 900p Screen, it is just perfect, and the battery life really depends on what you are doing but it could vary anywhere between 2-5 hrs.
