Hi everyone, I just recently purchased my first alienware laptop (m14xr1) from a fellow student at my school. Everything except for the right speaker light seemed to work fine and I definitely did not see any screen flickering issues before I bought it off him.

So anyways, I have an issue where the screen/alienware logo below the screen/alienhead on/off button flickers randomly. Sometimes it's barely noticeable and other times it flickers like every other second. Right now as I type, it has not flickered at all, but before I restarted the laptop, it's been flickering non-stop. I've tried a few things others have suggested regarding screen flickering on this forum but none of them have completely solved the issue.

    1) I have made sure both the intel/nvidia drivers are set to screen refresh rate of 60 hz.
    2) I have tried uninstalling/reinstalling intel/nvidia drivers. Intel first, then nvidia
    3) I have tried uninstalling/reinstalling alienware command center

I'm sorry in advance if this is a really simple fix and I couldn't even figure it out, but it's been bothering and it's such a nice laptop I want it to work perfectly. Thanks for your help!
