something's up with the forum posting right now yeah?

anyways just wanted to see what people thought about ideaepad Y480.

    Hey guys,

I've been thinking about purchasing the M14X for quiet a while, and once R2 came out, I was soo tempted.
But configuring what i "would like" with 4 year complete care warranty, I haven't been able to justify myself to spend almost $2400(even with $200 off coupon) on the 14" since I already have M18x sitting on my desk.

Then I just ran into this Lenovo Ideapad Y480 which I didn't know that existed.

Does anyone know how this laptop is? $899 with IVY, BLUERAY and 640m?

    IdeaPad Y480 Ivy Bridge 14" Laptop with Core i7-3610QM, 1TB hard drive, GeForce 640M 2GB, and Blu-ray for $899.00

one thing i would add.. I dont expect my 14" portable to run skyrim or battlefield on ultra, but it'd be nice to be able to run diablo 3 nicely..
I guess its going to be about going cheap with 640m fermi or spend double and go with 650m kepler..

    The 640m is Kepler IIRC.

Read somewhere that the 640m is comparable to the GT555m. GT 555m is on the m14x R1. Diablo 3 should be fine.
