Needs some help I have been fightning with my laptop for weeks one problem after another parts take forever to get here in Afghanistan but now the Bluray drive is making eject noises every few minutes. It does it without a disk, It's anoying can't figure out what the problem is. I searched everywhere and nothing. Does anyone have a clue what could be the problem? Calling dell is a pain out here calls drop like crazy and the support reps dont even have a clue what to do. Any help will be greatly appreciated

If your are accessing a program that is trying to search the drive, you may hear noises. However, if it is a repetitive noise with no disc inserted and the computer is idling, there may be an issue with the drive. Support will need to be contacted for a replacement drive.

    Thanks,
    Gabe

Thanks for the reply, I contacted support they did some tests mainly put my computer in the bios and waited for it to eject and of course it didnt. It happens every time I insert a usb drive I hear the Drive eject but it only happens in windows not in the bios. Does anyone have this same issue? Can anyone in Dell/Alienware tell me if there is a fix for this or its normal? Dell support stated it was a software issue to uninstall one by one until the issue goes away. I formatted my computer and still same issue. I wonder if its a driver conflict.
