Today the UPS man delivered my Neoprene sleeve. I will be doing an informative review on it, but the actual laptop has not been delivered, so I will hold off on a section for how well I think it protects it and the fit until I receive it. (EDD 9/2/11)

    ____________________________CONSTRUCTION________________________

I found the substance they made the sleeve out of to be both stretchy and really durable. Cutting this sleeve would certainly be a tough thing to do, as the material is very slippery any tightly woven. Overall, the sleeve feels like it will stand up to years of abuse. The handles on the top are made of whatever they make backpack straps out of, they feel well attached to the case, and are not very big, which I thought was good, so they do not flop around and ruin the look of the case.

    ____________________________Zippers/Pockets________________________

There are 2 compartments on the case, one for the laptop itself, and the other for mouses, CD's, flash drives, charger, things of that nature. I put in my mouse, the mouses receiver (it's a USB wire with a big receiver at the end, ovular, about 4 inches long at the longest point and 2.5 at the widest.) and the charger for my mom's Lenovo T510, a average sized brick and long wire, just to see how it would fit. It all fit just fine with the cardboard and foam insert in the laptop sleeve it came from, presumably to make sure the sleeve keeps it's shape during shipping.
The zippers are nice, there is a string attached, and at the other end is a test tube like shape piece of plastic about an inch and a quarter long, with the Alienware logo on it. There is a very interesting texture on the zipper graspers, it is really pleasing to touch. On the inside, there is a type of flap under the zipper, I assume it is to protect the laptop from being scratched by the zipper. Very thoughtful on Alienware's part.

    _____________________________OVERALL LOOKS_______________________

The sleeve looks very sleek, with Alien glyphs on the back, there are 9 characters, about 6 inches long in all. They certainly add a sense of mystery about the case, although I wish they did not add it, it just sort of makes it a little bit tacky seeming, however, the case is not tacky in any way. On the front, is a chrome Alienware head, but it has an odd color to it, it's silver with a hint of gold or bronze in it.

There you guys go, my first product review in my life. I guess it was a little lengthy for a 30 dollar case, but I felt like giving back to this forum, they really do help out :D . As for the fit, other people say that it fits really snug and nice, and they also say it definitely adds some protection. I have not received my laptop yet, but I would say this will definitely protect it from most bumps and bruises, and in the event you drop your laptop, I would say that it wouldn't one hundred percent protect it like a backpack, but it would certainly be much better than not having a case. I would say for 30 dollars, the case is definitely worth it.

Feedback would be nice, by the way. Tell me how I did on my first product review.

    Very good review. :)

The m14x fits pretty tight in it, and if you try to put it with the sleeve you get from factory it will not fit, I have tried it this morning.

Overal a great product, but definitely overpriced here in Europe (like everything else): I have paid 40 euros for it!!! :/

I wish there was enough space for the AC adapter that way the sleeve would be all I need to carry with me to game on the go. I put everything else in there instead... 3.0 flash drives (one with recovery), 3.0 hard drive enclosure, Bluetooth mouse. And then I hang the little pouch that my A*Star In-Ear Headset came with from one of the handles.

I agree my only gripes with the case is that you cant fit the AC adapter in,you could possibly squeeze it in but it would warp the sleeve, also it would be nice if it had a shoulder wrap for carrying like a normal bag,for £30 you would expect that you would get a little more than the two flimsy handles, on another note i put my laptop in the factory sleeve before putting it in the neoprene case and it fits just fine, think it all depends on how much you have in the pocket as i can zip it up nice and snug. Overall its just about right for the laptop and for the price and seems pretty durable to me after a month of using it every day.

Yea, I get the whole pocket thing being bulgy, but it's not like they marketed it like that. On the card it says for CD's, flash drives, and game cheats...

I thought I had to have a much bigger post count to post pics? I never looked at what it is, but for most forums attaching pics is like 100 plus posts...
