    M14X Delivery Time question

    Hi guys,

    I'm sorry to do this, I'm sure you get this all the time.

    21st August I have ordered a M14x Alienware, It has all the default components except the Wireless connectivity which is the Killer Wireless N-1103...

    The delivery date they have given is 14th September, It has been in production since 22nd.

    I am going away on the 4th September, I was wondering what the odds are of getting the laptop before then, I am living in mainland UK.

    Based on previous experiance what are the chances?

    Was that for the M14X also? I'm guessing delivery time is based on the current demand?

    No M11x, got my 14x through Amazon. I guess demand would be the major factor.

    Ordering, building and shipping a Alienware laptop take's about 4 weeks.

    7 days? Probably a returned or canceled order.

    Depends what components the laptop has. I got a fast track config and got mine in 3 days.

    Haha yeah, I got mine custom built via Dell/alienware website and ordered it via the telephone the August 17th.

    Got it on the 23rd lol

    Ordered my m14x on the 20th of june from the UK, i was given an estimated date of 5th or 7th of august,cant remember exactly. I ended up recieving mine by the 7th of july.I think they over estimate in case there is any problems, i had no update on my due date till about a week after i ordered so i would advise waiting a week and you will get some idea of how long it will take
