I've spent hours googling with no luck. I found where one other person asked this on a forum but no one responded. Does anyone know what this port is? By my best count, it's 38 pins on each side (76 total) arranged as 12-18-8.

@Porter, thanks, I would have never found that, it was driving my OCD crazy. I didn't know such a thing existed--and now that I do, I can promptly forget it.

I have an MX14 R2 and this slot also has been driving me crazy, I have come to find after much research that it is a mSata slot, but if your one is an R1 which it looks like then it must be used differently, as i do not think the R1 has mSata. Even when I size up a mSata card to the slot there appears to be another thin slot next to it which is driving me up the wall
