I am looking for an adapter for my AC Adapter for England. Does anyone know the specifics of what I need to do to continue using my Alienware in England/elsewhere in Europe (I'll be primarily in England, though)?

    Thanks

Are you looking for an adapter for your AC adapter that can be used in England?

Yeah, sorry, I wasn't specific at all. I am looking for an AC adapter for my travels in England.

Thanks. Do you know if I have to worry about the 220V sockets as opposed to the 110V in the US?

I use US charger that came with my laptop with £1 adapter, in the UK, like the one posted above. but $8.99 is way too much. item-wise, it's all you need.

You will need to make sure the adapter will step down the voltage to 110V otherwise your laptop will not like it. Seen it happen before with a mate buying an 360 from the states.

I think some AC adapters do it automatically though

I plug in my laptop at 220v. The standard m14x adapter says 110-240v if im not mistaken.

Dell/Alienware chargers can be used worldwide (provided you have the correct plug).
I personally take a couple these with me on my travels.
