Hey guys I was playing eve online and all of a sudden the keyboard flashed orange and the harddrive made a weird sound. After that my alienfx is glitching and not responding to my commands. I'm guessing that I should try a reinstall but I dont know where to download alienfx from. Could someone help me with that and also if anyone could explain why my keyboard spazzed out? I hope its not a sign of hardware failure. I just got this laptop yesterday.
    thanks!

Alienfx, and the command center itself, is a glitchy program. Drivers and Downloads There's the link for the command center download.

There ya go, hopefully a reinstall of command center will solve your problem. If you're computer is still running, your hard drive sounds like it's fine. You can also install command center from your resource CD, but i suggest downloading it from the dell site.

Would seem like a good idea to download the newer version from the Dell site and keep that handy instead!

Thanks for the headsup and the link!
It seems that alien fx fixed itself because its working fine now without a reinstall. It may have had something to do with the fact that I found alienfx set to allowing 3rd party programs to control it. And it just so happened to flash orange when a ship was blowing up; though, it didnt with other ships so I dunno.
