Just got my m14x and am delighted.

However the left click button is not even. It is sloping ever so slighty towards the middle and is softer to press than the right click button.

Are yours like this???? or should I contact dell???

They will come out and do it for you I would watch the guy like a hawk. I just watched the guy that was sent to replace my LCD screen break the white tab that holds the optical drive cable in place. He tried to tell me it wasn't there to begin with, but he did not see me watching him do it. Now I have to return the whole damn thing to dell because the optical drive is not detected by windows. They will send me a new one in 2 weeks.

If the track pad is defective they have to replace it. Both the left and right mouse button should be level with the track pad, if it's not call dell.

Dell came today to my work at 11 and replaced the tackpad unit. I am delighed with their service, and how quickly the minor problem was sorted.
