    Hey guys...

A couple of days ago I was listening to some music (Jazz to be specific), when all of a sudden my sub woofer just stopped working. While the speakers still work, the sound quality has now dropped DRAMATICALLY.

Called Dell immediately and the phone rep, told me this is a KNOWN issue plaguing the M14x-R2's speaker/woof combo.

For those of you wondering, YES, I updated all my drives and the problem persisted.

So in conclusion, for those of you who are still within warranty (Im guessing much of you should still be, since the release wasn't that long ago) might want to have this checked out, since like I mentioned it is a KNOWN issue.

It may have been a misunderstanding. It is normal that a SubWoofer fails under certain circumstances. We have all known issues listed on our website. However they do not apply to all users, only certain. Here is a link to the m14x's one. If anyone has the same problem, subwoofer not working at all and working before please send us an e-mail to [email protected] with your tag, phone and a brief description of the issue and we'll get back to you ASAP.
