    Hi,

I'm customizing a M14x, and I'm hanging at the wireless card section.

I'm considering getting the killer 1103 card, but I'm not sure if it would work under linux (even if it's only basic connectivity). On bigfoot's website, they say linux is not supported. If that's the case, and if there is no way of being connected wirelessly under linux, I'd rather stick with the Intel 6250 !

    Any ideas ?

    Thanks

If Linux support is important to you than go with the 6250. The Killer Wireless uses an Atheros chip for wireless which *should* be supported by Linux but those no telling for sore. The generic Atheros driver may work, but what you won't get are any special tweaks that Killer does in software to get better performance. Or someone else has experience with using this card in Linux might be able to chime in.

    Thanks for the reply.

That's pretty much where I was at, but I can't find any confirmation that it works under linux *for sure* (basic connectivity, not the extras), I wouldn't risk it for a maybe.

Do you know how does the 6250 compare to the very popular 6300 ?
