I need help. I bought a Killer 1202 the other day and I got it yesterday. I followed the instructions for dissasembly and replacing the wireless card etc but now my computer will not recognize the wireless. I installed the killer drivers and UNinstalled the intel 2230. But when I go into the Killer network manager program it says no killer device dtected. Which i find odd seeing as how it wouldnt even let me install the drivers unless there was a killer device present. Anyways after fooling with it a while I uninstalled the killer drivers and reinstalled my intel 2230 and drivers thinking that maybe I just got a bad killer card. But NOW my intel isnt working either. Is there something im missing?? Do the antennas have to be a certain way or what?? Please help

The antennas do have to be plugged into the correct sockets. As you're looking at the card once it's plugged in, the black one goes on the left (near the screw) and the white one goes on the right (near the pin). I took a picture of this specifically when I disassembled my M14xR2 for repaste, because I always forget where the antennas go. :p

But I have no idea if that will prevent the card from being detected as present... My guess is since the intel card worked before the swap, either the antenna position really does matter or you did not seat the cards properly.

Can someone post a picture of their wireless card set up? I'm really lost I've checked the installation several times and I don't see where I went wrong

Well Ive fixed it. Im not sure what was wrong so I did a factory restore and put my 2230 back inand it was working again. I DL'd the killer driver from the dell site and then uninstalled the 2230 driver and ran ccleaner to clean up the registry then shut down and installed the killer 1202 and ran the driver sw I DL'd and voila all of a sudden boom.

Apparently I had inadvertently removed something i need or did things in the wrong order im not sure. But I hope this helps if anyone else has the issue
