I have the killer N wireless 1103 wireless card and according to the software it says I can prioritize internet bandwidth, heres my question, I have two brothers who all use laptops on our same internet provider, can I prioritize all the internet bandwidth(which I wouldn't do if they needed the internet) for my laptop??? Will that leave them with no bandwidth? Also how does it divide the bandwidth if we all are using the internet at once? Thanks in advance

Think you got the wrong end of the stick! It prioritizes programs on your laptop to gain network connection. So you can set the virus scanner at low priority, and BF3 at hight. so BF3 always uses all the bandwidth it can, so a virus update cant disrupt your game.

If you want to steal all the bandwidth from your brothers, get a decent router like a draytek, where you can set up different SSID's and limit bandwidth on each connected device!

Rep +1 Thanks for the quick reply, no I don't want to steal bandwidth from my brothers, that's just unfair to them, however I have the low grade Fios internet, I get like 10mbps can two ppl play BF3 simultaneously without lag?

I say you should be fine. The servers are dedicated, and online gaming doesn't take up a terribly large amount of space, if I'm remembering correctly. It's essentially just securing a connection between you and the server, the game and your computer do the rest.

10MBps should be plenty for that. Like the previous post said, you can only prioritize your traffic, not others from the BigFoot Networks application. Its to prioritize applications on your m14x. You need a router that will adjust bandwidth for certain users if you want to limit other pc's.
