So my keyboard/mouse lights are usually blue but whenever I play Blacklight: Retribution, the lights will change to a random color. When I shut the game down (not Alt+Tab though), the lights will change back to blue most of the time. Occasionally I'll have to manually change it with the AlienFX program.

Anybody else have this issue? Any way to make it stop? Out of all my games, this is the only game this happens with.

That's because that game is compatible with the AlienFx and it is setup to do that on it's own. Here is an article for you to know what other games and applications support that.

there should be an option to disable 3rd party effects if you right click the icon in the lower right hand corner. :)

Great input bigtonyman. You can disable it there on the Alienhead that controls the lights on the taskbar.

Based on what color I choose for my multiplayer team, the keyboard colors would change accordingly in Supreme Commander. They colors would also blink when a nuke was launched by someone. Nice feature. Hope more games can use that.
