right click on the game, properties, and one of the tabs should have a back up option. Copy to folder to external hard drive and just run the set up when you're ready.

Here is a faster way man copy the whole folder over to an external HDD. Install steam on the new pc without any games installed and log on to you account with the empty lib. After this is all done exit steam totally and then copy the old directory from the external and boom it will be working. I did this for my M11xR3 from my M15x

It will I did this just incase my computer crashed cause Im currently deployed to Afghanistan and also had to copy my games over to my friends computer cause he was caught in an update comming here to Afghanistan so he cant get into offline mode. But we have the same taste in games so we had mostly the same games. Plus rep if it works for you.

Yes i did and thanks for that advice..i copied it to my external hdd

i havent put them on the new laptop yet because when i try to install them from nvidia i get "the graphics driver cannot find compatible hardware"

so right now i downloaded the driver from laptopvideo2go.com and im going to see how that works out.

edit: i actually used the gpu off of the dell driver site even though its old..ill try to update them from nvidia's site tomorrow then i can start to import my games
