    (there's a tl;dr bullet list at the bottom, I'm sorry I write a lot)

    Hello everyone,

So I used to have an M11X R1 for the longest time and the warranty was great and they replaced several parts. Though, they ignored a lot of my requests for a replacement until just recently (yes, I was due for one because I had hard drive issues and motherboard issues more than enough times to qualify me for a replacement). I've finally gotten into the M14X R2 and I like it, though the weight wasn't what I was used to. I originally had a bad motherboard due to the common sound issue of "No audio device installed". They replaced that. There was also the issue of the touchpad/mouse buttons not left clicking or responding to single touch (I could move, but nothing else until I tapped the touchpad enough times). Alienware gave me replacements on both this past week, and I liked that. Though, that order was also supposed to come with an LCD replacement because I had this weird bubble thing come up every so often. They didn't send it but whatever.

This week, they're sending out a technician because of the monitor AND both of the previous repairs didn't work. I had yet another motherboard that gave me the "No audio device installed" error and a touchpad that would time to time not respond at all. I asked the rep if I could get another replacement if this happens again and he told me that I wasn't eligible for replacements anymore.

I'm here to ask two things: (1) Is that representative right and down the line I end up getting another string of bad replacements (as I had with the M11X), will I just keep having to hope for good luck? (2) What other issues do you M14X R2 users call Dell about that require a technician? I want to be able to expect the issues before they happen.

    tl;dr

    - Got an M14X R2 as replacement from Dell for my M11X
    - Screen had bubbles
    - Motherboard no sound issue
    - Touchpad/mouse buttons not always responsive until I tap a lot
    - They replaced the motherboard and palmrest, but still same issues
    - They said that even if I get 3 strikes of the same issue I will never get another replacement

Thanks in advance for a lively discussion, because you lot are always helpful.
