    I would recomeend getting the Kingston Hyper X 2 x4 for 8GB . 1600 mhz. It is the best performance and its Plug and play.

    Yes that's a good deal. But if it's not too much extra, try getting a 1600mhz speed ram. A lot of people, even me, would suggest the kingston hyper x, but it's not necessary.

    Sorry to hijack the thread, because I'm kinda lazy to create a new one, however I got a question about the RAM speed, which is what If I get two type of ram speed say one stock 4GB 1600Mhz, and one Kington HyperX 4GB 1866Mhz, can I use it together?

    I believe that you can. You would get the same timings/speed as with 2x stock sticks.

    Exactly, which is the complete model of that memories, I want to upgrade my memory too, but I'm really noob on this, so I don't know which one will be ok for my alienware. Thanks dudes.
