Is the m14x r2 really the only notebook that can do three displays??

Basically, I have been researching new notebooks like the Lenovo y580 BUT none of them seem to be able to output two digital video signals PLUS the internal display. ONLY the m14x r2 seems to be able to do this (using HDMI + miniDP adapter + internal), which means I cannot change to another notebook for my VJ needs.

Even the newest Clevo 15" chassis is said to ONLY be able to output one external + internal OR two externals with internal disabled :[

I did not think this was such a niche feature? Is Alienware one of the only brands that is shipping notebooks that actually support the GPU spec? I can't figure out if other manufacturers are disabling this due to their internal wiring or what?

Any advice on other 15" or smaller notebooks that support three spanned displays??

    Thanks

HP Elitebook 8570W with a firePro GPU. use the advanced dock and you can have 4 external monitors and use the laptop panel as well ( 5 total )

if you don't mind posting over in WNSIB we can help you more. a

And if your externals are not playing games but displaying more static data for photo editing, spreadsheets or general working then you can use something like a Matrox Triplehead to Go adaptor in almost any laptop with a USB 2.0 or 3.0 port

The retina MacBook Pro 15 supports 3 external (2 thunderbolt/mDP, 1 HDMI) plus the internal monitor.

Nope my E6420 with nvidia card could do it. Had DP, VGA, and internal, all would work together.
