I want my VOIP program to come from my headset and all other sounds (games, videos, etc) to come from the external speakers. Is this possible? The speakers and headphones seem to share the same source under "Playback Devices". There's also the "Independent R.T.C. Headphones" that become active when you plug the headset into one of the headphone ports, but it doesn't seem to make a difference.

Sure its possible. I think you need to invest in a soundcard though.

Only through a sound card unfortunately. Not with the current one you have there.
