    Hi dudes, I'm again :p

I bought today Logitech Cordless Rumblepad 2 so I want to try it! but I'm afraid cuz in order to used it I have to install the software that comes with the control and that software is on a small cd (like the cd of the Nintendo Gamecube). So, my question is if the dvd reader will go to the crap with this small cd and if not, how I have to get in the cd without damagin my beautiful m14x, thanks a lot and I send you my best regards.

Download the software directly from Logitech's website, and don't use the CD.

I'm unsure if the M14x optical drive accepts mini CDs. Just use an external ODD or download it from Logitech.

ANY size CD/DVDshould WILL in the slot loading drive, it's the same as the one in the old Inspiron and Studio range and we had the same issue with my partners, essentially, you line it up with the middle then insert about 3/4 and the drawer will take the disc on it's own.
If it doesn't take it at 3/4 then do as above, this is a general rule of thumb, however i'm 99% certain Dell will use the same hardware, they have no reason not to lol :D

Agreed - there is no way I would try to use a mini-cd in any slot loading drive.

    Have fun!

I've done it twice, successfully, on Dell machines, however if there is ANY doubt then DL'ing is the best option for your own sanity :)

To be fair, I do EVERYTHING on my VAIO 11.6" WITHOUT a CD/DVD drive as it's too small, so you should have no issues :D

Use another PC, and copy the CD to a USB dongle....

    Period.

No, you cannot use mini-discs. Read page 28 of the manual on dell's website. It says use only standard size discs.
