Today I checked the CPUID website and notice that they have release a later version of CPU-Z and HWMonitor, version 1.58 (CPU-Z) and 1.18 (HWMonitor).

I see much change to the CPU-Z, just some few add on for AMD stuff and support for Intel Sandy Bridge-E. But for HWMonitor there are HUGH changes, like they add a detection for Intel Sandy Bridge support, package/Core/GT Temp (Which I have no idea what they are), battery power and charge level (I think this is only for laptop) etc..

See for yourself, +rep if you think this help you :D

All software that made buy CPUID are free of charge, in other word, it is a freeware. The previous version dont have the package/Core/GT temp monitor, no battery monitor as well, they added the Sandy bridge option which I think it is for the new one that will release in Q4 2011, or maybe for a tweak for the current one, because it is also work on the previous version as well.

It is a standalone program, so no other program incl, you can have the separated .exe file 32 Bit and 64 Bit version each, or an all-in-one (32Bit + 64Bit) setup file. Same for the CPU-Z as well. For me I prefer use the separated .exe 64Bit file, because you dont need to install it, just download it and double click to run, and if you want to get rid of it, just delete the file.
