I repasted my CPU/GPU with PK-2. Not seeing much improvement.

I was bored and decided to repaste my M14x. I have a before and after screenshot of temps.

Now the numbers look decent but I must have taken the screenshot when the temps were at the lowest. At idle they are a little higher. Almost equal to before the repaste.

LEFT is stock idle RIGHT is PK-2 Paste (idle at 20 minutes in same ambient temp).

I guess the picture doesn't mean anything if the temps aren't accurate

My main question is, should I repaste them to see if I used too little of paste (I'm thinking that may be the case) ??

I put a dab on the GPU and a line on the CPU (long way).

I have 1 hour prime95 temps with stock paste. I haven't got a chance yet to try with the new paste.
