    Pros: warranty and price

cons: Worst case scenario, It arrives damaged, dirty, original packaging or nameplate missing...ect.
On the up side, they are totally reliable.. In some cases they'll build you a brand new one.

It may take longer, but you will definitely save some money.

Wow that's basically the same as my setup and I did pay 2000$k +

you WILL not be dissapointed! I just got mine today - first alienware for me; it's sooooo cool!

The build quality is amazing, it's so dense and sturdy and solid. And, it's bigger than I thought, exactly like a 14".

Just the perfect size honestly, you will not be dissapointed. ;)

Nothing wrong with Out let systems, same warranty. And in some case's yes they will replace it and even build a new one if something is wrong when you receive it or after. With a Out Let coupon you can really save a lot.

You can't ^^ I could care less about that though. I am sure if I call Dell/Alienware they'd make me one for a few bucks.

I was actually going to start a thread on this.

You got a sweet deal. Only difference with mine is the SSD and wifi. I also called because I was going to return and got $150 more off to keep it. I love the outlet. Been buying from there for many years.

Outlet is an excellent place to shop. When you have the money ready, you just have to watch the Twitter feed like a vulture, because as soon as the coupons go live, within a few hours all the good deals are gone and you're left with the scraps.

It is updated every 2-4 days, you just have to refresh spam the page all throughout the day.

I picked up an M11X-R1 at the beginning of the year through the Outlet and both delivery/condition of laptop were exceptional.

Ok...1st impression....The "killer nic" is INSANE! This thing is picking up zones 1-block to half block away from me.

Not sure if it matter that I live on top floor or now...but with my wifi cards I was getting 1-red bar. This thing gives me 5-green bars!

This is going to make my wifi experience so much nicer.

I have almost the same specs. I love mine. I mean, the thing is so GD portable, and the Gt555m with i7 CRUSH ANY GAME at 900p.

Most people who rip it don't own one or are jealous of it's portability and power.

Sometimes synthetic benchmarks don't do a machine justice until you plug it in and actually game!

I did the same 20% off deal and I got a lemon... =T Had dead pixels and the subwoofer constantly "popping". A tech came and replaced the LCD which also had dead pixels... sigh... he changed subwoofer as well but that didn't stop the popping... now they're going to send me a replacement... said 14-15 days!! I had to disable the sound card via BIOS so the popping would stop. The tech said it's probably some grounding issue with the mobo and since they didn't send him a mobo, he couldn't do anything about it.

I've ordered from Dell Outlet before years ago when they had the 20% off and got myself a nice Studio 14z and that was perfect. Can't believe I got this lemon from Alienware though...
