So I've been thinking about re-buying Crysis 2 for my little laptop here, either through Origin or Amazon download. A few questions though:

If I download it through Amazon, does it still run through Origin? Also, where/how do you get the DX11 patch (or will it already be on there)? But I'm really wondering how well it runs. I played it on my Xbox, but I've been wanting to go back to it to re-experience it, and I figured if I was going to do it again I would do it right.

It can play it on medium to high settings at native res. I'm pretty sure mine included the dx11 and high res textures packs, but I downloaded via origin. I think you can also get the patches from the crysis 2 website.

I can play it at 1600x900 on the advanced setting, with around 30-60 fps. Ultra is playable, but a choppy. Advanced is a nice compromise between great visuals and high fps. I also have an overclock of 700mhz on the core.
