    Hi everyone!

I see they have a new beta driver for the m14x on the dell site. Do I need to uninstall the drivers I have now (stock)? And if I do need to uninstall how do I do that?OR do I just click download and run it over my current drivers? Do I need to uninstall the intel drivers also?

Sorry I'm not really too keen on the driver thing when it comes to these laptops.. if anyone could quickly write out steps on exactly how to do all this I would greatly appreciate this more than you know! Thank you for your time! :)

You can install it over the old one, it will auto choose to newest one, but it is recommend to uninstall the old driver first and install the driver, and this apply to most of other programs.

NVIDIA driver is a separate driver from Intel's, it will not interfere with each other. Intel HD Graphic is a integrated GPU in CPU, while the GT555m is a dedicated GPU.

For the step, if you want to just install it then just double click on the NVIDIA driver and install as normal after that, follow whatever the installer ask you to do.

For if you want to do the traditional and recommending way, just uninstall the old driver and restart, after restart double click on the new driver and install then follow whatever the installer ask you to do.

After the installation is done, open the NVIDIA Control Panel and check on Help > System Information > Detail, in there will see your driver info and the version. Done, easy as pie :)
