    How to properly remove the Wifi card on M14x R2

    I was looking through threads about it and found info on it, but I just want to double check and I don't wanna disconnect anything that's not supposed to be touched.

    Ok I found this on the other thread, so ok I get the green circle you gotta unscrew etc. But what about the black and white wires? Can you easily unplug them like how you unplug the battery and hard drive?
    What about the drivers? Will the laptop automatically install drivers?

    Yes, you can remove the antenna wires. They simply clip on. I replaced the Wireless card in my M14xR2 just the other day. It's very straight forward. Take a look at the M14x owners manual, it will guide you through replacing the card.

    Yeah it is actually pretty easy. It will come right off as you remove it gently. Why do you want to remove it?

    I'm gonna dual boot it with mac osx (for school) and win 7.
