You can take most of that laptop apart... obviously what you would need to do to get to the inside. However, I'm not sure the plastic comes off for the LCD assembly. I'm assuming you have either an M14x R1 or R2?

You can take the plastic front cover off, but be careful with removing dust since you'll likely end up with more dust in the process.

    Hi heras,
Depending on which model number your computer is I can provide you with an appropriate video to ilustrate the process of dismounting the LCD.

Must be an older M14x as the new models obviously do not have the edge to edge plexi glass screen covering - As _Drake_ said, it's going to be hard to NOT introduce other dust into the display assembly in the process, unless you are in a dust-free environment - kinda like a car paint spraying tent. Most certainly, you can give it a go.....

This should help - if you wanted to remove the whole LCD assembly first, you can do so by following this procedure: How to remove the LCD screen on the Alienware M14x R2? | Dell US - the video below shows how to replace the panel, so it should help you achieve what you want to do.....

That video illustrates it really well, you should be able to clean it properly with that.
