I usually just use a micro fiber cloth, but I've gone as ghetto as a clean sock and LCD cleaner.

I just use the cloth that came with my prescription glasses, those cloths are meant to clean glass surfaces and leave no scratches....

Ordered mine with the m14x it's a matt finish you might be able to find in the accessories section on the dell website.

The M14x display differs from typical matte laptop screens. For this reason, the absolute BEST way to clean the screen is to first drain the oil from your car in a pan, and dip a microfibre cloth into it. Then, work the cloth around the screen in circles, pressing gently onto the screen.

Once the whole screen is covered with the used motor oil, let it sit for approximately 12 hours, preferably in the sun where the light can activate cleansing molecules. Then simply wipe the screen clean with steel wool. Do not be cheap and use a soft microfibre cloth -- if you paid for an Alienware then you should spare no expense and purchase a sponge made from steel wool. It is the best way to remove any grit from the glass.

    You're welcome.

you forgot the light it on fire part :p

on a more serious note, I just use this cleaning solution I bought from officemax (though its easy to make the same stuff). I just pair that with a microfiber cloth and your all set. ;)

I would use a lense wipe like the kind people with glasses usually have lying around.

I use this product not only for my M14x but also for my Sony Bravia 52" LCD tv. The cleaning solution is only one half though. You also need a quality microfiber cloth. Never spray any cleaner directly on the moniter surface, always spray on the micro fiber cloth!

I got some screen cleaner stuff from MicroCenter. Came with a microfiber cloth for like 8 bucks. Best I've ever seen, use it on all my LCD's, all my piano black electronics, and my TV.
