I think you need to reinstall a driver on it, I was about to do it, but I wasn't too sure if you can re use it for the xbox. Or I could be totally wrong.

Well I can get a PS3 controller to work on my laptop (same procedure as a 360)

BUT, does BF3 even support controller input?

long time since ive played with ps3 controller but i think you download something for it. its not a case of just plugging it in and playing i think. google search or youtube will show you.

you need to download a firmware from microsoft, but im not sure if you can re convert it back to xbox, there are a few guides on youtube/google if you type in "how to use an xbox 360 controller for pc."

I downloaded a tool called "MotionJoy".

The computer will recognize the controller, but you need to have the drivers and such from Motionjoy.

Why would you want to use a controller?! The headshots are so much sweeter with a mouse!

Joy2Key is another program you can use to remap controller buttons.
