    Help-Maximum time for order to complete

    Hello I am going to be purchasing the M14x for university in the Fall.

    I live in New Zealand but will be studying in the US. Prior to my arrival I will need to order my M14x so that it arrives at my dorm before I get there.

    So...

    I need an opinion on the maximum time the order will take from payment all the way to arrival.

    I also want to wait as long as possible in case the r2 releases.

    Well.....for me I ordered my M14X on 3/30/2012 and Fedex is delivering it on 4/11/12. I picked 7 day shipping. Hope that helps.

    For me, I order from Dell NZ website and took total of 10 days of delivery exclude Weekend.

    I ordered on a saturday and, with normal shipping, got it the next saturday.

    Looks like I'll order it 2-3weeks before my arrival just to be sure. Wouldn't want to be stuck without a computer for my first week of uni :D

    Hopefully the r2 refresh will come out before I order it.

    Well im personally on week 3 lol I ordered 22 March and it was originally estimated for 5 APRIL but there was a part shortage so I had to wait a little longer. Its SCHEDULED to arrive ON OR BEFORE (They love to say that) This Thursday 12 APRIL. Most people get theirs in about a week or so depending on configuration and part availability. From what i understand though, its a computer thats worth the wait.

    EDIT: ALSO They dont charge you until after shipping. If I had known that i would have ordered it that Monday instead of Friday(payday) lol

    Oh right hopefully my order won't take that long lol. Your delay was due to a shortage in Killer wireless right? I'm going to be ordering pretty much the basic config with exceptions to an i7 and 1600x900 screen.

    Yeah it was the Killer wireless card. They got them in Monday though and as of now my M14x is Out for Delivery :cool:

    At least they gave me free overnight shipping lol

    Im very curious to see where and how they determine what orders are built in what locations. There were people who ordered theirs after me that got theirs last week with the same configurations. According to FEDEX it was picked up in Nashville. So was it made there or shipped there? Curious
