    Help output to monitor via HDMI not full screen@!

    I have an alienware m14x and the resolution is 1600x900 and i just picked up an LG E2360V monitor. The monitor supports 1080p, 1920X1080 res. And when i hook it up via VGA the resolution and scaling is fine. However when i hook them up via HDMI the resolution does not fill up the full screen of my monitor. All my drivers are updated and everything so idk why it outputs 1920x1080 full screen to my monitor via VGA but not via HDMI. Please help.
