Help me Optimize my M14x

I followed the Optimization guide in the dummy articles, I didn't do a clean install of windows as I thought it was unnecessary so I used some utilities to clean up the system (If you guys recommend I do a clean install I can do so). I used glary utilities and ccleaner for the most part to run all the utilities. I updated all drivers possible through the dell website. There are a lot of Roxio things installed on here, I am not sure if I should keep them or delete them? My big questions are what things should I have running at startup and what programs should I delete? What other things can I do to get this thing running as clean and fast as possible??

Not trying to bother anyone just making sure I have the best setup and optimization before I start installing things, etc..

 

Try Soluto. It's a great program for clearing up unwanted startup programs, or at least delaying their startup until a bit later after your system has fully booted and is fairly idle. Information it gives about programs and their usefulness and recommendations are based on user input (community).

 

I have glary and it does the same thing, but thanks for the suggestion!

 

I'm pretty OCD, but to me nothing feels as fresh and clean (not even a brand new white t-shirt after it's been washed in a really nice, premium detergent.... mmmm.... detergent smell) as a fresh install of Windows.

 

I will be doing a fresh install once i get my SSD
