I have an Alienware M14x laptop, about a year old.
This morning, when I turned it on, I got the infamous blue screen. After that, when it booted back up, it went through the typical screens of the Alienware logo & "Starting Windows" but then simply turned into a plain, bright white screen. There were no sounds and there wasn't a cursor.
After about 10 minutes, the white screen went away and the my normal laptop screen appeared. For the rest of the morning, it seemed to be working fine. Obviously, though, something IS wrong, and I don't want this to become a recurring issue or get worse--to the point that it simply doesn't work anymore.
Any suggestions on what could be causing this and how to fix it/prevent it from happening again or getting worse?
Please help! I am not super computer-savy so please walk me through step by step what needs to be done.

wonder if its a graphics card driver problem. Have you updated your graphics card driver recently or something?

Updating the video drivers and the BIOS could help on this issue.
