So, this morning I accidently knocked over my coffee and it splashed on my keyboard (the coffee was half empty so its not like the keyboard got soaked) . I quickly dried it up with a tissue and I made sure I went through in between the buttons to make sure there isn't any liquid still in there. It happened while the laptop was on; however, nothing happened to the laptop and the keys work fine as well.

I am freaking out now because I don't know if I caused a huge damage to my laptop, or if its working fine now but going to crap out later. I really don't feel good about takeing it apart because I fear due to my lack of experience I might cause even more damage. So what do you think? QQ

Personally, I would NOT use the laptop until I've taken it completely apart and cleaned it. You do not know if there is any residual coffee "down in the laptop", just waiting to short something out.

I've had mine apart a few times already, it's not really that bad, and the system was designed (unlike other laptops) to be "user serviceable".
Just follow the guide: HERE and you will be fine.
It takes you step by step through taking each and every component out and replacing it, A very good guide.
While you have it apart, remove the cooling block and do a thermal repaste, you should be doing that about every 6-12 months on a gaming laptop anyway.
Good luck, and the important point is to go slow, have patience and don't yank or pull on things too hard.
The "fagile" points on the laptop are the ribbon cables, make sure you go slow and are very careful will those. The biggest "gotcha" is with the palmrest, there are two ribbon cables, one for the keyboard and one for the power button and alienFX lights, if you follow the directions you should be fine.

Take it apart and clean it carefully. The coffee could have gotten way farther.
