The other day i changed my ssd (ocz vertex 4) for the original hdd (Seagate - Momentus 750gb, that came with the notebook) to format it, the problem is when i power on the notebook and the black screen on the top left side appear the line intermitent long time, and then on the posting it completly freeze..if i touch f2 or something else and the notebook start beeping as many times i tocuh a letter... before when i replace the original hdd for the new ssd i put it on the anti static bag and until the other day i never take it back from there.
The bios is on optimal default and updated to A12.

PD: With my ssd i don't have problems, only with the hdd.

Sorry to hear about your problem. Is the drive seated correctly? Can you access the hdd as an external drive through USB? Maybe that way you could check if the drive is working.

Do you have an enclosure where you could put the drive to run diagnostics on it? Sounds like it's dead, but you could at least go through the usual troubleshooting.

I would think even with a bad drive you should still be able to get in the bios. maybe something to do with uefi? try defaulting your bios from the ssd before swaping and see what happens. good luck.

Remove the hard drive and see if it beeps, if not, reinsert it and remove the RAM then see if it beeps.

You could also try to power drain the laptop once you insert the HDD (unplug AC adapter and battery, press and hold the power button for 30-45 seconds, reconnect and see it if POSTs)
