I have the M14x, CPU I7 2.8 Ghz. the FPS vary greatly and sometimes I hit over 200 and other times I'm happy if it goes over 100. Fan speed seems to very greatly. Not sure if this is a determining fact. But is there a way to keep the FPS up high since the laptop does posses the potential?
Not an expert but from monitoring the temps it appears that if one of the cores get's a little warm (just over 80) then the whole thing moves slower, This is not a fact but a thought. If this would be the case how to I change the fan speed so that when I am ripping the fan stays on max rpm to get max cooling?

The naked eye doesnt tell the difference between 40 and 200 so why worry about 100 to 200?
