This seems odd, but I got fable 3 and on the 555m it is unplayable in terms of speed. I use the igp and it is actually playable. Both are being tried on low and I am running the 275 beta drivers anyone else able to see if it is my drivers or if this is something more severe.
Edit= It was the 275 beta drivers

I'm getting this game tomorrow I'll let you know how it runs.

Is the game whitelisted?

There are a few things to check. Some of these may be obvious, but it's worth pointing out all the possible fixes I can think of.
1. Make sure your power profile is on high performance and you are plugged in
2. Go to the Nvidia control panel and force Fable 3 to run using the 555m (You've probably done this if you're making comparisons between the two cards)
3. Somewhere in the Nvidia control panel there's an option to turn on an icon in the system tray that shows the activity for the 555m. Turn that on, start Fable 3, then alt-tab out and check the icon to make sure that it is in fact running on the right card
4. Run Fable 3 at full screen, not windowed
5. Check to see if the Nvidia control panel is overriding any settings within the program. For example, the Nvidia control panel can set your graphics card to do 4x anti-aliasing, and it will simply ignore whatever anti-aliasing setting is in the program
Lastly, you should be able to revert to older drivers if you have been creating system restore points. Go to the device manager in control panel and find the 555m. Somewhere you should find an option that says "previous drivers" or "previous versions". See if any older drivers work.
Best of luck to you. You're problem certainly isn't a good one to have on a gaming machine. -
No i did that it is using the gpu, it is odd and I usually know what I am talking about thats why its an issue. It literally when the 555m is running it runs slower than with igp

Have you tried older drivers?
