    Hi Guys,

i was playing crysis 2 ...and everything was working perfectly....decent frame rate on ultra ...29-30....

All of a sudden, and for the countless times i reopened the game....it keeps messing up the graphics?

Game is really unplayable due to it.
Is the video card messed up?

And for those who played crysis 2, no, Im not using stealth mode :)

    Look at pics below:

I did overclock the graphics card...but not to any extreme levels....temp was always around 70-80 ....
Drivers updated previously, game reloaded several times.

I played mass effect 2....no graphic distortion...

I dont know why its doing this to crysis 2....

    any suggestions?

Maybe it's not stable, a lot of variables come into play on overclocking, such as temperature, humidity, etc. Also playing crysis 2 on ultra, at least on my 900p screen, is really a huge demand for the graphics card. Not saying it isn't playable, but it does get kind of choppy. Try it on the advanced graphics setting with your overclock.

I was already playing crysis on ultra without overclock...it did get choppy....but it was still playable ....its never turned into like this .. this is just blurred graphics...

    So any other suggestions?

    Should I call dell?

I tried re-installing both game and video card drivers...nothing works...the game now crashes :( ...doesnt even load

Ok So i was running crysis 2 ...and it only works when i reload a whole level not a save point but WHAT I HAVE NOTICED IS:

using MSI afterburner...i when the game is running (the settings are set to 590/1180/900 ) but when the game is running the shader clock and memory clock are at ZERO ....

The FPS which is normally 29-30 are at max 8-9 now.
is the graphics card burnt out?
    Should I call dell ?
I have 4 year accidental warranty.

    Please advice.

    i called alienware tech support...

    they ran bunch of tests....

they said the GPU is fine but the CPU core 1 is underclocking....

they will send out a tech to replace that...
