    Hello everyone,

I was wondering is there a way to force the hdmi to use the integrated instead of the dedicated GPU? thank you in advance!

I don't think so. Could be wrong but if i recall correctly I believe that the Hdmi port is wired to run with the gt555m. But in most cases that should be a good thing unless you're using it on the go and need the battery life.

WOAH! So if it makes it run through the GT555 whenever there's an HDMI in it, couldn't you game on battery then if you just plug in a HDMI cable to a TV? But then again there's the power draw problem.... But what would be really interesting is if it would use the GT555 even if the other end of the cable wasn't plugged into a TV...

optimus is programmed in such a way that moment it discovers some HDMI input device connected, it switches to GPU. There is no way of reverting back to IGP until you disconnect the device.
